From its dramatic location at the edge of the sea the Royal Orchid Hotel gives added flexibility to your holiday. You can choose to self-cater, eat in or eat out whilst being totally independent. Full hotel facilities such as a helpful manned reception, games rooms, restaurants and bars, a well stocked quiet reading room, health club, outdoor sun terraces with sunbeds, indoor and outdoor swimming pools as well as a free daily bus service to Funchal are all offered. There is lift access to all floors. Two booths in the reception area offer internet access.

The hotel maid service includes daily room cleaning and bed making, with towels, pool towels and tea towels provided and changed as required. Beds will be made up ready for your arrival. Please note that maid service does not extend to washing up or drying dishes.

As elsewhere in Europe 2-pin, 220v plugs are used to connect electrical appliances.
